In the framework of the "Creative industries and creative economy as a space of research and practice” conference leading Russian and foreign experts will present research and best practices. At the same time students and teachers of Russian regional universities will talk about their vision for research and practice in various Russian regions. Projects presented by students will be discussed by Russian and European experts during the panel discussion.

 “CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AND CREATIVE ECONOMY AS A SPACE FOR RESEARCH AND PRACTICE”

Nowadays creative recourses generate added value and become a key driver of economic growth and social development. Creative industries - a sector of the economy, which in recent years has attracted increasing attention worldwide: it enables to reach economic and social objectives, attract human and creative resources for the regeneration of cities, regions, countries. For students, teachers and experts of humanities this interdisciplinary field has a big potential for transforming research skills and knowledge to a new forms of activity – socially oriented projects, creative businesses and research.
 

In the framework of the "Creative industries and creative economy as a space of research and practice” conference leading Russian and foreign experts will present research and best practices.  At the same time students and teachers of Russian regional universities will talk about their vision for research and practice in various Russian regions. Projects presented by students will be discussed by Russian and European experts during the panel discussion.

Aim of conference- is to form a research and project space in regions in the field of contemporary humanities.

Goals of conference- of the conference is to perform contemporary project and research approaches to work in the creative industries and creative economy and to include students of Russian regional universities in advanced research and project making.

LluísBonet- Director of the Master Program on Cultural Management at University of Barcelona, invited lecturer in cultural economics, cultural management or cultural policies in more of 30 countries, President of the Working group “Cultural indicators” of the European project Investigating Cultural Sustainability

Marjo Mäenpää – PhD in history of arts, professor of management and communication at University of Art and Design Helsinki, School of Art and Media

Giulio Stumpo– expert in economical analysis and project evaluating in culture, partner at ECCOM association (Italy)

Chris Helmbrecht– musician, creative consultant, head and owner of Kollektiv creative agency (Russia-Germany)

Conductor Elena Zelentsova, “Creative industries” Agency director

Representatives of Oxford Russian Fund, British Council, Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, career.ru portal, Institute of Russian and Eastern Europe (Finland) and other experts are among paerticipants of the conference.

Issuing of the digest both in Russian and English will be a summarize the conference.
