Meet the winner of Creative Business Cup Russia 2015

The creative entrepreneurs and designers of Shusha educational toys will represent Russia at the international final of Creative Business Cup which will be held in Copenhagen, 17-18 November 2015.

9 July 2015, the finals of the national Creative Business Cup competition took place at Flacon Design Factory that readily supported the initiative. For the third year, thanks to Creative Industries Agency, a Russian start-up gets an opportunity to participate in the Creative Business Cup and to compete for the title of the best creative entrepreneur in the world and for the money prizes. In 2015, Russia will be represented by Anastasia Sherbakova and Vassily Perfiliev, creators and designers of SHUSHA educational wooden toys.

As part of the finals there were presentations of eight finalists, the audience voting, buffet dinner, music from DENNY KAY (AXIOMATIC RECORDS) UK and lottery prizes for the guests offered by the organizers, partners and finalists. A cocktail bar and snap shots with the event’s logo from the MOROSHA brand became a delightful bonus to the program. Elena Zelentsova, a Russian expert and a notable figure in the field of creative industries and creative economy, acted as a host of the event. The final was attended by over 150 guests – creative entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of government agencies and cultural organizations.

In 2015, special nominations for the finalists were established by the national competition partners - British Higher School of Art and Design, краудсорсинговой платформы CITYCELEBRITY crowdsourcing platform, Realogic Company, Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design, and the winner of Creative Business Cup Russia 2014 - 3plet publishing team.

Audience choice award – an annual subscription to on-line educational program for urban entrepreneurs Vector – went to Guzel Sanzhapova, Cocco bello creamed honey project. The project was developed to create jobs for the people in the small village of Maly Turysh in the Urals.

The best creative project in the nomination of British Higher School of Art and Design is Street Reality Quest, the game story was created in fantasy genre and popular steampunk style. Nikita Ivanov, the project’s author, is invited to take free Creative Entrepreneurship course training.

The most investment-attractive project is Cocco bello, and Guzel Sanzhapova gets a special prize from Realogic company – an opportunity of developing a special project at Flacon Design Factory and business consulting support from Realogic to strengthen the investment potential of the startup.

The prize from the editors of CITYCELEBRITY crowdsourcing platform is awarded to the national winner – SHUSHA project. Shortly, an interview with Anastasia and Vasiliy and a special crowdsourcing project will appear on CITYCELEBRITY.

Special prize from the best creative entrepreneur and the national winner in 2014 Valery Mifodovsky, founder of the 3plet Digital Music Publishing, is awarded to the team of Musicmama.ru project (a professional music network to connect artists, venues, and concert organizers throughout the CIS countries) – the authors get an opportunity to publish their project in 3plet format.

The next step for the national winners - the SHUSHA project team - is the international final of Creative Business Cup, which is to be held 17-18 November 2015 within the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Copenhagen (Denmark).
