The Spring School for the Oxford Russia Fund fellows was launched

On the 12th of May a week-long project-educational programme was started for students and postgraduates of Russian Universities. As usual the team of Creative Industries Agency supported by Oxford Russia Fund prepared a fertile educational programme in  Moscow and Moscow region.

The subject of the School 2016: «Generation of Communications in the modern world: humanities as a basis for useful activities and self-realization». The modern generation is more often called «generation of communications». Is it true that the process of communication is substituting a content of activities for current students? Is the communication able to be the action itself and its basis at the same time?

The programme includes workshop by architects Nicholas Champkins and Irina Bardakhanova (Great Britain-Russia, Bardakhanova Champkins Architects, the British Higher School of Design ), and the report of the marketing specialist Francisco Gil Carmona (Spain, ESADE Business School, Barcelona Chocolate Museum). It also includes lectures by Tatiana Podladchikova (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and Space Center Skolktech), Dmitry Sporov («Oral history» fund), Konstantin Bogdanov (Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House), Russian Academy of Sciences), Pavel Stepantsov (MMSES and RANEPA), Arseny Khitrov (HSE), Mikhail  Burtsev (Research Center «Kurchatov Institute»), Ivan Klimov (HSE).

The Spring School moderator is Elena Zelentsova, PH.D.  in Cultural studies, Vice-President Skolkovo Innovation Center, professor of the MMSES.

The curator of the School is Georgy Nikich, Ph.D. in Art History, professor of the MMSES
